The Fray

On Saturday we went with some of our friends to the Fray concert at Usana Amphitheater. We rode in the same car as Brian and Stacey and on the way we stopped at the Cheesecake Factory to eat. It was really good but we had so much food left over. The meals there are huge. After that we headed towards the concert. We had all been there before but this time we had forgotten to bring Betty(we named our Garmin GPS Betty). Even without Betty (the Garmin) we found Usana and got a good parking place right in front which is good until you are trying to leave.
The concert was good and we had a lot of fun. The weather was really hot at first. I saw a sign in West Valley that said it was 104 degrees. After the sun went down the weather was really pleasant. Here are a few pictures we took at the concert.

Stacey & Brian, Jess & I, Matt & MaKenzie, and Mary & Justin

After the concert when it was time to leave the parking lot was packed. (as always after a concert) Because we had a really close spot at the beginning we were one of the last ones to leave. While we were waiting to get out of the parking lot we watched these people get into a huge fight. One lady kept getting in and out of the taxi and every time she would get out she would scream and push somebody. Then at the end she got really mad at the guy she was with and started marching away from him while she was still yelling. The guy chased her all over the parking lot. Needless to say it made our wait much more entertaining.
When we finally got out of the parking lot we headed towards the road that we came in on so we could get back to I 15. On the way there was some construction and we were detoured. We ended up driving through this little back road in Magna where the only thing open was a few bars. When we got back to a main road we looked up and there was Kennicot Copper (sorry about the spelling). We really could have used Betty(the Garmin). Well it was dark and none of us really knew how we had gotten here after all of the detours so we turned around and went back the other direction and we found the freeway. When we finally made it home it was late but we had a lot of fun.

Here are a few random pictures of Roman that I took the other day.
