Family Pictures

On Sunday we went up Burch Canyon in Smithfield and had my mom take some family pictures of us.  They turned out pretty good considering we had a one year old who didn't want his picture taken and a dog who wouldn't hold still.

ONE YEAR!

 I can't believe my little boy is one already! He as been walking for a few weeks now and he is so cute when he stands up.  When I took him for his 12 month well check he weighed 21 lbs (38%) and he was 31 inches tall (80%).  Boston loves car, truck, 4 wheelers etc. anything that he can drive.  He doesn't have a bottle any more just a sippy cup with milk and he loves it. 

 For his birthday I made a timeline of the pictures I took every month in his yellow chair.  It is so much fun to be able to see how he has changed.

 For his birthday party we had our family over to celebrate.  We had sub sandwiches and mickey cake and cupcakes.  Boston loves mickey mouse so I thought I would attempt make a mickey mouse cake. 

 Boston loves his cake! It was so much fun watching him destroy it.  When he discovered it was something he could eat he started clapping his hands and licking his fingers.  He had cake everywhere!

 Next we opened presents.  Boston loved to rip the paper but once he got it open then he wanted to play with the gift.  He was really spoiled by his family! We are really lucky to have so many people who love us.

 This is his 4-wheeler from Nana and Papa Houlsey.  He loved riding it! He hasn't quite figured out how to push the button yet and make it go but he loves when other people push it for him.

 On Monday night we had a party at the Ashcrofts for Boston and Ainzli.  They were born on the exact same day.  We had dinner and desert and had a great time hanging out with our friends.  Boston and Ainzli had fun playing together.  They had just cleaned out a drawer and wanted to "cook."

  Boston loves being one of the guys! 

Jess Birthday, Labor day,and TOU Half

 This year Jess and his friend Jake ran the Top of Utah half marathon again.  They had a great time. I didn't get any pictures as they crossed the finish line though.  Bre, Cal, Boston, and I got there early and we had our cameras ready but I had reached down into our bag to get Boston a treat just as they passed us and I could get a picture in time. 

                                           Boston really liked daddy's medal.

 Over Labor Day weekend my sister blessed her little girl Leila in Elko Nevada.  We arrived in Elko late Saturday night and we came home on Monday.  The blessing was great and Leila looked beautiful in her dress.

 On September 7 Jess celebrated his 27th birthday.  We had our parents over for a little birthday party.  We cooked hamburgers and hotdogs and watched the USU football team beat Utah! For his birthday Jess got a new pair of shoes.

 He also got an edger.  I waited until the very end of the night to give him this.  I think he was surprised.

 Boston loved all the steamers that we put up around the house. 

11 months

 It's hard to believe that this cute little boy is 11 months old.  I can't believe how much he has grown into a little boy.  Boston is so busy, he is always on the move.  He is really close to walking and he could if he wanted to.  He will just stand up not holding onto anything and he walks behind anything that he can push.  Boston has six teeth and I think it is so cute when he smiles.  He says Dad, Mama, Nana, Ma (max), and duck and dog sound the same. He loves Mickey Mouse and anything you can drive or steer.  It is defiantly getting harder to take his pictures in the chair because he doesn't want to stay in one place.

                                       He loves drawers and climbing on anything he can.

                                            Putting dads shoes in the laundry in fun too!
