August Part 2

On the 15th of August we took a trip to Hogle Zoo with my parents.  There weren't very many people there and the animals were so active.  Every animal was awake and moving around which made it really fun for Boston.

The Gorillas kept chasing each other and Boston would say run run!

The Polar Bear was so fun to watch.  I think it was our favorite thing to see.  It swam in front of the glass for at least a half hour.  Boston got so excited every time he would see it.

Boston LOVED the Carousel! He wanted to ride it over and over.  He insisted that each one of us take him for a ride.  He is so hard to resist when he says "pease"

Boston loves helping with the farm work. He helped Uncle Clinton drive the tractor and helped Papa feed the cows!

On August 24 Jess, Hily, and I ran the top of Utah Half Marathon.  This was the first half that and the farthest that Hily and I had every ran.  It took a lot of time to train and none of us probably trained as hard as we should have but we all ran the whole thing together.  We finished in 2 hours exactly. I would have never been able to do it without the support of these two.

Jess parents we able to get their hot tub working so we had to try it out.  Boston loves Grandma and Grandpas warm pool!

Most Monday nights this summer for family night we
would ride our bikes up to A&W and eat ice cream.

This summer Boston went to his first two movies.  The first one was Dispicable Me 2 in July and we took him to the movie Planes in August.

I just had to add this one because everywhere we go Boston wants to take his Cars "pack pack" (backpack) with this toys in it.

On the 30th of August we went to the Real Soccer game.  Jess Parents decided to join us along with his sister Julie and her family and his brother Kirk and his family.

The next day we took Boston to Seven Peaks in Provo.  We had so much fun.  There is a slide there where you go down on sled things and Boston loved it.  There was never a big line so we were able to keep going down it over and over.
