Moab

This past weekend Jess and I along with our friend Justin, Bryan, and Matt went to Moab. We left Thursday afternoon and headed to Tremonton to pick up the jeep that we were taking to Moab. Justin's brother was nice enough to let us take his jeep and his truck.

It was late when we arrived in Moab on Thursday so we just checked into our hotel and started to get everything ready for tomorrow. Friday we spent the entire day jeeping. The first place we went to was called Hell's Revenge. I had never been jeeping before and I didn't exactly know what I was getting myself into. I had no idea that we were going to drive the jeep up so many steep inclines. Some of them really did freak me out but I was amazed at all of the things that the jeep could climb. Here are some more pictures.

After we finished at Hell's Revenge we went to a park to
have lunch. I had never seen a park like this before.
It had a whole bunch of musical instrument that you could
play.
The next jeeping trail we went on was called Poisonous Spider. It was a lot steeper than the first trail we went on. At the top of the trail there is a huge arch that you can walk around.

On Saturday we went on a 14 mile bike ride to a place called Gemini Bridges. The ride to the bridges was all down hill but after we passed that it got a little harder. The trail had a lot of sand on it which made it hard to ride in and at the end there was a steep incline. It was a fun ride and the scenery was amazing.

After we finished biking we went to a swimming hole with a waterfall. The hike there was really easy and the scenery was amazing. The water was still really cold but he boys decided they wanted to jump in anyway.
