December

Our Christmas celebration began on December 15. Hily and her family were not going to be in town for Christmas day so we had our family Christmas party early. These three have so much fun together.

 We gave Hily some clothes and David a pair of Nike shoes.  Roman and Leila got a snowmobile sled to share a few other little things. 

 Jess got a new pair of shoes, Boston got a Chuggington train set, and a got a new outfit from the Fonua family.  Boston also got to open his present from Nana and Papa.  They gave him a tool bench with some tools.They also have he a set of power tools like daddys.    He loved it!

 We took a drive to Preston Idaho to see the lights.  It was so fun to see his face as he saw all the different cartoon and Disney characters lit up.

 The Daines family also had their Christmas party before Christmas this year.  Boston loves hanging out with all of his cousins.  Grandpa and Grandma Daines gave him a play Black and Decker tool box and some tools.  He loves the hammer that it came with because it "kinda looks like daddys"

   On Christmas Eve we were able to have my parents come over and spend the night.  It is so nice to be able to spend the time at home and with your family.  Each year we get to open one present on Christmas Eve and it is always pajamas.  This year Boston and his Daddy both got construction pajamas.

It was so fun to see Bostons face on Christmas morning.  This year he understood the concept of Christmas a little better.  It was fun to see his face light up every time he saw something new.  This year he got a some new "dumpys" ( dump truck) a "monie" (motorcycle) helmet, and and a train set with a "mote" (remote)

 This year for Christmas Jess got some new church shoes, a blanket, a knife, and some new clothes. 

 The funnest story of the year was that Jess and I got each other the same gift.  We both bought a poster of Romney Stadium and had it framed to hang in our basement.  I guess great minds think alike.  We ended up keeping one of them and selling the other one.

This year for Christmas Papa gave Nana a new TV for the upstairs in the house.

 For Papas birthday which is on December 28th we headed out to Elko Nevada to visit my sister.  We left on the 27th and stayed for a couple of days.  These three were enjoying the ride.

 Papa fell of the ladder while hanging Christmas lights on the house and broke his foot.  He was still on crutches while we were in Nevada and it was hard to shop.  We convinced him that this was the perfect time to tryout a motorized cart.  We were in the Walmart in Elko Nevada.  The grand-kids loved it.

 For his birthday Papa got some new tools.  We gave him a new Makita drill set. 

November

 November this year we spent a lot of time as a family. We went a watch the Aggies play a few times.  Boston really like all of the cheering and music!

                            We went up to First Dam to feed the ducks. 

  Boston was able to sit in the plow truck when daddy had to plow.  He loves big "dumpies"

For Thanksgiving this year we went an ate dinner with the Daines Family.  After dinner we were able to go and spend some time with my family.  It is really nice to have both families close around the holidays. That weekend the weather was nice so we decided to head to Hogle Zoo. We love the zoo and seeing all the animals.  We also went to Build-a-bear and let Boston build a Santa.  We wanted Boston to get excited for Christmas and Santa this year.  He loved the Santa we built.  He carried it around everywhere!

October

We started October by taking some family pictures. I loved how they turned out!

In October we also celebrated Boston' s 2nd birthday. We invited our families over for a construction party.  Boston loves all construction equipment. For his birthday we gave him a John Deere power wheels. His face when he woke and saw it was priceless.  He was so excited! Boston absolutely loves his "dumpy" 

 Later in October Jess, Boston, and I along with my mom and dad went on a motorcycle/4-wheeler ride up Cub River.  Boston loves to ride the "monie"  It was so pretty and the weather was really good.  We stopped on the way down and had a picnic in the sun. My mom wasn't in any of the pictures because she insisted on taking all of them.

 We also took a trip to the Jensen Historical Farm with Bre, Cal, Mary, and Gwen.  We had so much fun riding the horses, going on the train rides, and seeing all the animals.  There were not very many people there when we went so we were able to ride as many times as we wanted!

 The kids loved the train. It was so fun for them to ride it over and over!

 For our Halloween party with our friends we were able to spend the night in Bear Lake at friends cabin.  It was so much fun.  Our family dressed up like characters from Despicable  Me 2.

     The next morning all of the boys went on a motorcycle/4wheeler ride.

 Boston and I also visited the pumpkin walk this year.  Boston loved running around and seeing all of the displays.

A few days before Halloween we had both sets of grandparents over to carve pumpkins.  It was so much fun and they turned out great!  On Halloween this year we Boston was a minion.  We started of by trick-or-treating at Lee's, then we went to visit G&G Daines, and after that we headed to Richmond to attend the trunk or treat that my parents ward was having.  I have never been a huge fan of the trunk-or-treat but it really helped Boston get the hang of trick-or-treating.  After it was over went took him to a few of my relatives houses and he would walk right up to the door and say trick or treat.
