Fireplace

Over the past few weeks we have been working on putting in a fireplace in our basement. With the help of some family and friends we were able to finish it this weekend.

Skiing

This season Beaver Mountain has had some pretty warm ski days so we have taken Boston up with us.  He loves it.  His eyes are always watching all the people and he loves all the kids.  Plus I think he looks so cute in his helmet. This Saturday when we went up he kept yelling at Jess to "go go go."

 A few weeks ago on KSL these skis came on for a great deal.  Boston isn't quite old enough to ski by himself but we push him around on them in the basement.  He loves it.  He will go and haul his skis out of the storage room and try to put them on. 

Right now Boston always wants to be outside shoveling, sledding, or skiing.  He would stay outside for hours if we would let him.  He is also becoming more independent and so smart.  He knows right where his cups are if he needs a drink, he wants to feed himself, and the cutest thing is he folds his arms if you say lets pray. It melts my heart.  When he gets tired he makes a cute humming noise and he wants his blanket. I can't believe he is 16 month old.

Sledding, Birthday, and New Years

This year for my dads birthday on the 28th of December we went sledding in the afternoon. Boston loves his new sled and it was actually warm enough to be outside. That night we continued the celebration by going to dinner at Texas Roadhouse. We love you Papa and I hope you had a happy birthday!

 

This year our friends had our New Years Eve party at Matt and Mckenzi's house.  We spend the evening eating and playing games.  I am so glad that we have great friends to hang out with.
