August Part 1

This August Jess and I celebrated 7 years of marriage. To celebrate we went camping just below Tony's Grove.  The first night we did a little fishing and walking around the lake with just our little family. 

 Our family photo turned out pretty good considering Jess set the camera timer and the camera was balancing on a rock.

 The next day we woke up and went to a Motorcycle/4-wheeler ride.  Boston loved it. He wanted to ride with daddy on the monee(motorcycle) the whole time. After we finished our ride we drove over to Bear Lake to eat a shake.

 Later that night Jess parents came up for dinner and my parents came to eat and spend the night.

It was so much fun! We are defiantly going to make sure we do this more often! The next Wednesday-Saturday we took a little vacation to Bear Lake with my family.  We got a hotel at Ideal Beach.  Boston and Roman were so cute having breakfast together!

 These three spend so much time on the tube! They kept challenging me to go faster and dump them off.  This tube is hard to tip but I did manage to bounce my dad off the back only because they were not holding on so when we hit a bump he just bounced right off.

 We also took the paddle boards and the Kayaks with us. Hily enjoying a paddle board.

 Jess and Boston getting ready to ride the tube.  Boston had his Dewy (binki) when he first went out on the tube but then it just disapeared.  We really didn't notice that it was gone through the ride.  We spent the rest of the day tubing and boating.  When we were all done riding the tube that day we went pull the tube to shore and Boston was asking for Dewy.  We weren't sure where it was because we hadn't seen it in hours.  Boston climbed up on the tube and opened the velcro that covers the valve where you blow up the tube.  There was Dewy.  He had put it there for "safe keeping" while he was tubing and it had stayed there all day.

 This photo is hard to see but that is Bostons head poking above the tube.  Jess is back there with him but he was ducking down so it looked like Boston was there by himself.

 My brother-in-law David had never surfed behind a boat before.  He did great.  He was able to get up the first time he tried!

 Ideal Beach has two pools to play in.  Boston loved to go down the slide and jump off the diving board by himself. (With daddy catching him at the bottom) After we are done with any type of water activity he wants to be wrapped up like a "burrito".

 During this Bear Lake trip Boston got to surf with daddy for the first time!

The day we came home from bear lake was my moms birthday and Judy's birthday was the day before so we got to have a double celebration at El Torro that night! Its always fun to spent time all together!

July

     This summer we had so much fun spending time outside.  On July 1 I took my soccer team up to the USU Ropes Course to do a few team building activities.  We a great time and our favorite thing was the zip line! This in Brinlee, Hali, Sidney, and Abbey.

 On the 3rd we headed to the Logan fireworks.  We go to the fireworks every year.  It is such a fun tradition and Boston loves them!

 We also spent a lot of time hanging out with the kids in our neighborhood.  This is Lily, Boston, and Brooks.

When we go out to my parents house Boston loves to ride in this car.  He has his daddy run all over the yard pushing him.

                                      
A few days before my nephew Roman birthday in July we met my sister and her family at Seven Peaks in SLC to play for the day.  We all had so much fun.  The kids and the adults loved playing in the water!

There is a really cute place by our house that I wanted to take pictures of Boston by so I went over over one morning.  He defiantly didn't cooperate like I had hoped but I got some great pictures that show Bostons personality!

Every year Jess' parents get a condo at Ideal Beach in Bear Lake and the whole family comes to stay.  They have done this for the past couple of years and it is always so much fun.  This year we stayed July 11-15.  I don't know why but I hardly have any pictures of this trip but we had a great time.  We played on the boat, in the water, tie dyed shirts, decorated flip flops, etc Boston had such a fun time playing with his cousins.  This is Jake and Boston at the play ground.

The day after we got back from Bear Lake Boston and I headed to Elko Nevada to celebrate my niece Leila's first birthday( Jess wasn't able to come because he had scout camp). She is so adorable and I can't believe she is already one. They had a birthday party for her at the park next to their house.  I took a few pictures of the cute little princess before everyone arrived.

 They had gunny sack races for the kids and adult to do.  This is Roman racing.  Hily and I raced but my mom has the picture of that.

 These two had a lot of fun together.  Leila thought Boston was so funny.  They were playing so cute together.

                 While we were there we went to story time at the Library.

We came home on Friday in time for the Hyde Park City celebration and fireworks.  They have a whole bunch of bounce houses and slides that the kids can play on.  Boston loved the slide.  We went down this slide all night.

The next morning we went with the Daines cousins to the Hyde Park parade. Boston loves hanging with the big boys.

That night we went to the Real Salt lake soccer game and fireworks.  Jana and her family joined us along with my parents and Jess' mom Judy. We love the Real games especially the ones with fireworks.

We spent a lot of time at the Logan Aquatic center.  This time we went with Anzli, Callam, and Gwen.  Boston likes haning with his buddies!

My sister came to town at the end of July and we all went for a little hike one morning just past First Dam in Logan Canyon.

    Boston, Roman ,and Leila had a good time playing in the sprinklers.

Boston really wanted to play outside but it was raining so Daddy set up a play area in the back of the truck.  They sat there for over an hour playing.  Boston though it was so much fun. We had a great July!
